We believe that education extends beyond the classroom, and our diverse range of extracurricular activities reflects this philosophy. Here are just a few highlights:
- Student Council: Develop leadership skills and represent your peers in making impactful decisions.
- Music Club: Express your musical talents and help improve language and reasoning skills, memory, and attention span.
- Robotics: Learn to code and write commands for robots while developing skills beyond the classroom and competing in robotics competitions.
- Art Club: A space for students to explore their creativity and learn new artistic skills.
- Cheer Club: Improve flexibility, rhythm, and fitness in a fun energetic environment.
- UIL Academics: Competitions to provide guidance and leadership that challenge students to think critically and creatively, and to apply higher-order thinking skills.
- NASA Globe: A worldwide program that brings together students, teachers, scientists and citizens to promote science and learning about the environment. Through a hands-on approach to inquiry, participants are encouraged to engage in local investigations and then present their findings at an annual competition.
- Lego Club: Reinforce STEM concepts while building self-confidence, motor skills, creativity and problem solving in a safe environment with new friends.
- Model UN: Develop global awareness, leadership, and public speaking skills while solving "real world" issues.
- Speech and Debate: Improve communication skills, critical thinking skills and network while participating in a number of speech and debate contests across the region and state.
- Academic Rodeo: Participate in competitions while working collaboratively to solve a variety of problems.
- Leader in Me Lighthouse Leadership Team: Work with teachers to promote student leadership on campus creating a culture of student empowerment.
