ESSER

The American Rescue Plan signed into law in March by President Joe Biden included $122 billion in Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds for school districts across the country, which is the single largest investment in federal elementary and secondary education in the nation’s history. For more information on ESSER visit https://tea.texas.gov/finance-and-grants/grants/elementary-and-secondary-school-emergency-relief-esser-grant-programs.

After seeking stakeholder engagement, the following items were developed and presented to the UT Tyler University Academy Board on July 26, 2021 in preparation for submission of our ESSER applications.  Every six months, the UT Tyler University Academy will review the plan in accordance with the latest guidance from the CDC, state, and local governments.  If revisions are needed to the plan, public input will be solicited and stakeholders will be meaningfully consulted.  The revised version of the plan will then be posted on the website.
